Abigail St. John’s Advising & Formation is an education center, where students prepare for the next stage of their education. Whether you plan on enrolling in high school, an undergraduate program, or a graduate program in the United States or the United Kingdom, we can help you to achieve your goal.

We help students draw up a list of schools, critique application essays and personal statements, and apply for scholarships. In addition, we prepare students for the IGCSE, SSAT, SAT, TOEFL, and IELTS exams.

Mrs. Ifeanyi Olagbaju, has been working with students planning to study abroad for over twenty years. She envisions her center to be an avenue for teaching teenagers not just to study hard, but to also develop a habit of praying.

college application assistance

We help students draw up their list of schools to apply to, in addition to helping with transcript enquiries, college essays, application submission, and more.

Alpha classes

Alpha is a faith formation program to help teenagers develop a sense of responsibility for their faith prior to attending college, as we have found that children who are spiritual tend to be significantly happier and more fulfilled. The class is open to all students. Learn more.

exam tutoring

We have teachers for every section of the SAT—mathematics, reading, and writing—who are passionate about their work. We can arrange tutors for important entry exams such as TOEFL, IELTS, and SSAT required for high school, undergraduate, and graduate admissions.

Counselling & Psychotherapy

Counselling sessions to support young people with a range of issues including Anxiety, Depression, Self-esteem, Anger, Stress and stress-related (settling into university/college, examinations, and time management), Cultural, Self-harm, post-traumatic stress, Interpersonal relationships, and Trauma.

Public speaking & Nigerian History

We encourage our students to learn Nigerian History and disseminate the information to their peers through presentations and other learning tools to improve their speaking and communication skills before college.

Visa Counselling

We offer assistance to students and non-students who need guidance on the visa application and interview process for entry into the United States and other destinations.

Essay Writing

Classes to prepare students for college-level academic essay writing.

Pre-University Calculus

Calculus classes for undergraduate mathematics and engineering inclined students to get a head start on their college requirements by either being able to test into higher classes or just mastering the material.
